For most of his life, celebrity magician Joel Meyers made the impossible appear real. After more than 50 national television appearances and performances across over 70 countries, he began asking a deeper question:
In a world filled with illusion, conflicting truth claims and endless noise, how do we know what is actually true?
The Disillusioned Deck was created as an extension of The Disillusion Project, Joel’s immersive live experience exploring manipulation, loss, faith and the journey from deception to truth.

Its intricate artwork reflects Joel’s story: beauty and darkness, performance and reality, belief and revelation. After years of chasing success, he discovered that applause could entertain and distract—but it could not heal or save him.

The Disillusioned Deck is a reminder to question appearances, test what you believe and look beyond the smoke and mirrors.
Because sometimes becoming disillusioned is not the end of belief.
